I recently stayed at Hotel Maya Caribe Faranda in Cancun, and my experience was a mixed bag. The first couple of nights in the garden bungalows were quite uncomfortable due to privacy issues and less than clean bathrooms. but the transition to the main building was a definite improvement, offering better room quality and cleanliness. The restaurant, Dos Playas, served fantastic meals, particularly the fish, which exceeded my expectations.
